Never Ending Reality Of Being There

Your Price: $10.00

This short skit is about a guy sitting on a park bench when an old friend sits down next to him and surprises him. The reason he is so surprised is because the friend had died. You figure that out as the story goes on and that this friend has come back from hell to ask the guy why he didn't tell him about Jesus. Something to make you think.

Two actors. Could be two males or two females. Only 5 minutes.

Forgetting Those Two Little Words

Your Price: $5.00

2 girls and 1 boy. Very simple and short, only 3 mins.

Love Is Not Arrogant

Your Price: $5.00

This is a short skit for children and a narrator about kids who act arrogant toward strangers while playing freeze tag and cause an offense. They repeat the same scene with more loving attitudes toward the strangers and by just being friendly, they win them to the Lord.  This is actually a scene from the play, "The Best Way To Live".

12 children plus extras and a narrator. Only about 5 minutes.

T.R.U.T.H. Super Heroes

Your Price: $25.00

This is a series of 5 skits that take about 6 minutes each.  It can also work as a play with 5 scenes.  This is more for kids entertainment and probably should be performed by young adults or teenagers.  It is done mostly for laughs as these are pretty silly super heroes with very unusual abilities.  One hero, Spirit-Filled Man, is the one who quotes scripture and reminds them of the spiritual battles that they are fighting and who the enemy really is.  This would work great for VBS or Camp.

Cast of 20.   No more than 8 in each skit.  Mixed gender, many of the characters could be played by either male or female.  Double casting is also an easy possibility if you don't have 20 actors.   30 mins. total

On Trial In The Court Of Forgiveness

Your Price: $0.00

A simple skit that only involves a few actors.   There is an accuser (the prosecuting attorney) who has three criminals to stand trial before the judge.  They say a little in their defense, but it is clear that they are all guilty.   At the end, the judge forgives them all and sets them free.   When the accuser objects because the law must be carried out, the judge upholds the law and condemns another to die in their place - himself.     The play ends as the judge offers his own life in place of the guilty.

Cast of five.  Any gender.  More can be added.  About 5-6 mins.

The Vote

Your Price: $5.00

In this short, INDEPENDENCE DAY skit it's 1776 and they continue to vote for Independence. John Hancock leads the meetings and John Adams speaks out in favor of Independence. Hancock calls on each colony and they call out their vote... The delegation from Delaware finally arrives and breaks the deadlock. Hancock announces that they have just become the United States of America.  This skit is also found in the larger productions of  "Thank God For America", "Founders of Freedom" and "God Bless Our Land".

5 actors (all male) Only about 4 minutes. Can be done as "Reader's Theater". The 12 delegates can be members of the audience.

What's Your Problem?

Your Price: $5.00

This is a short puppet sketch that can also be done as a straight skit with actors.  The characters are disabled.  One is in a wheelchair and one has leg braces.    In the story, the girl in the wheelchair has cerebral palsy and tells jokes and encourages the girl with braces to celebrate her disability.   But they also get real and talk about how even though she has an upbeat attitude, she still has her difficult moments and being with others and talking seems to help.  This may be hard to portray with puppets if you can't come up with the props.   The props could be out of sight and just talked about.   This could work easier as a skit with two girls.   Boys could be used also if you change some of the lines.

2 actors.   About 5 mins
Abigail And Martha

Your Price: $5.00

This is a short 5 minute INDEPENDENCE DAY sketch about a meeting between Abigail Adams and Martha Washington. The meeting and the words spoken are fiction but the letter that Abigail reads is an actual letter from her husband, John Adams, written on the day of the vote for independence from Great Britain. The letter is long and the bulk of the sketch. Not much to memorize.  This skit is also found in the larger productions of "Founders of Freedom" and "God Bless Our Land".  There is a longer version with more actors called, "The Patriots: Abigail and Martha".

2 actresses. 5 mintues.
